South Park The Fractured But Whole Goes Gold; Whilst Poking Fun At Kanye West

The wait is finally over South Park The Fractured But Whole has made its way into manufacturing ahead of its release date in October and in its anticipation Ubisoft has released a brand new trailer filled with references and Easter Eggs , however the majority of the references poke fun at famous rapper Kanye West.

The trailer starts off with a talking Gay fish sobbing (trying to atleast) when suddenly a hero named SEMEN shows up with his sidekick. This is where the Gay Fish tells him of his troubles that he needs to find a way to get his mother to heaven and thus their adventures began with a trip down memory lane the sequence is a combination of Flappy Bird and Robot Unicorn Attack and in the end The Gay Fish’s Mother reaches Heaven.

Now this may not seem much but this is a clear reference to Kanye West and his In-Development Game Only One based on his single Only One and his Late Mother Donda and how she made her way into Heaven on a Unicorn.

The Gay Fish is also a reference to the character which was showcased in Season 13 episode of South Park called “Fishsticks,” which originally aired in 2009. in which there’s a show called parodies a song of West’s which refers to him as a Gay Fish.

Now South Park has been known to handle controversial cases really well and back in E3 when Matt and Trey were on the show floor describing the same scenario with Trey Parker adding Y’all just be acting like this s*** is regular” which hilariously is exactly what Kanye Said when he showed off his game. However this time around it seems that they have taken the joke up a notch, but at the same time the ever vocal Kanye has not exactly complained about the incident which suggests all his ok.

South Park The Fractured But Whole has been controversial multiple time but this time it won’t be censored like the Stick of Truth in regions like Australia. The game will be available on October 17 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
