Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator was previously available for the Xbox One, however it was pulled off at the very last moment. Now, it seems that a new n64 emulator (Nintendo 64)  can be bought on the Xbox One storefront.

Win64e10 is an N64 emulator that surprisingly popped up on the Xbox Games Store recently.  Noted by Destructoid, the app is apparently an upgrade to the Mupen64plus. It was originally available for Windows 10 and Windows phone only, the latest update makes it to compatible to Xbox One as well.  The app is reported to be the “the most advanced N64 emulator for Windows 10,” that will let you “play all Nintendo 64 games.”

Keeping in mind Nintendo’s litigious nature, as well as the fact that a number of ports of Nintendo 64 titles with the Rare Replay collection are being published by Microsoft, it will definitely have users wondering how long the newly updated Win64e10 emulator is up for. It won’t be surprising if Microsoft decides to bring down the update, since it won’t be the first time they’d be doing something like that.
