Prison Break fans can finally rejoice as FOX confirms speculation on the release of the Prison Break Season 6. In the past many cast members have indicated on the advent of season 6 but all such announcements have followed by nothing in the end. Wentworth Miller for instant created some hype as he announced his retirement from the Arrowverse. Moreover, Dominic Purcell also talked about the possibility of the sixth season with no follow up at all.

The announcement came yesterday by the head of FOX entertainment, Michael Thorn. Thorn also added that the studio has decided to adapt a different approach this season. As reported by Screen Rant, Thorn mentioned that the season would be developed in “New Iteration”.

Prison Break is a show that over the past has managed to develop a solid fan base. Fans are as eager and curious as ever to view the show and production team does its best to prolong fan’s hungriness for the show. The period between the fourth and the fifth season was nearly eight years. When the show was finally released, fans took to it like hungry wolves, playing a pivotal role in its success. For season 6, a similar strategy was adopted where the audience’s interests were occupied using Instagram posts and other red flags before finally bursting the bubble yesterday.

There is some talk though over the cast. With the show falling a new iteration in the latest season, we aren’t sure that whether the production team would go for the same cast, or vouch for a new one. No matter what the end decision may be, the show is expected to generate a strong and robust return.
