2017 may just have arrived but Microsoft has already begun to turn up the hype machine for the launch of Project Scorpio Xbox One console which is going to be released later this year. There has been much talk already about the console being a beast of a machine , and is touted by many as the most powerful console in existence.
The Head of Xbox games at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, had greeted the fans a very happy new year in which he also proclaimed the forthcoming upgradation to be a ‘beast’.

This point of view was echoed by the community manager of Microsoft Studios, Josh Stein, who also proclaimed that 2017 is going to be ‘the year of the Scorpio’.

The highly stringing tweets have induced many fans to make a suggestion for the official announcement on the date of launch of the supercharged console is going to be out in this very year, there are claims for the company, Microsoft, that it is going to be ‘the most powerful ever’.
Contrarily, the Xbox chief, Phil Spencer, for his part was more measured in his point of views for the console and he stated that even though 2017 is going to be a good year for Xbox, he would wait to hype up the console ‘until [Microsoft is able to] show games’.

In the fight for console supremacy it seems that Microsoft does have a great chance with the Xbox One Scorpio. The only thing that worries me is the fact that it is going to be released almost a year after the PS4 Pro’s launch and by then it might be a bit too late.
