Destiny 2 has an amazing arsenal of different weapons and cool gear for players to take on the universe and the foes within and it seems that Bungie has hinted some balancing that might be needed in-game. Bungie recently suggested that it will balance some weapons through an update in the near future and that they have been monitoring weapon stats and usage so far.

Jon Weisnewski, senior designer for the game, stated on the weekly Destiny 2 blog that he has received the first batch of player data from the game and said that although it is too soon for any weapon changes to occur they are going to be there definitely in the future.

“We’re not ready to go into detail about any weapon or ability tuning at this point, but there is an ongoing process in play, so we did want to drop a quick line and say…We have heard your feedback. Thank you!”

Jon also mentioned that a lot of people are using the MIDA Multi-tool and that the Bungie team has a close eye on it too. He stated that this does not specifically mean that the weapon is overpowered.

“There are options out there that match or exceed its effectiveness in all activities”.

Destiny 2 has been picking up ever since it first released and a lot of people have been stuck on the Leviathan Raid especially the Pleasure Gardens trial which have been hard to complete even with a full strike team! Those few who have completed it are of immense skill, two of who are Epicookiez and Slayerage (a formidable duo).

Destiny 2 still has a ton of content in store for people as the months go by so be sure to keep active in-game and strive for the quest of loot! Let us know if you’re one of the few who completed the Pleasure Garden trial in the comments section below and stay tuned!
