Titanfall 2 may be EA’s most awaited upcoming title, but unfortunately it won’t be a part of EA Access or Origin Access.EA’s subscription-based services EA Access usually grant a trial and discounts for EA games to subscribers, However, Titanfall 2 won’t be a part of the program. This comes as a blow to fans as who were expecting early admittance to the game as EA had done in the past with Madden, FIFA and other franchises.

The news comes through GameReactor who obtained a statement from Respawn Entertainment confirming that Titanfall 2 will not receive any sort of discount, early access or trial through EA’s subscription services.

Respawn has not offered any specific explanation for this except for stating that it “might” join EA and Origin Access at a later date, but not for the remainder of 2016 at least. EA clarified that it might be featured in the future stating; “They clarify that it might get included in the future, but at least not this year.” It would be safe to assume that if it does eventually appear on EA/Origin Access it won’t be until after all the free DLC launches post-release.

How do you feel about Titanfall 2 not being a part of EA and Origin Access? Does it have any affect on your decision to purchase Titanfall 2 as a subscriber? Let us know below in the comments.
