Microsoft announced they were adding three more games to the list of Xbox One’s backwards compatibility program. This takes the total number of Xbox 360 titles in the list to over 250.

The new additions include Bound by Flame, The Maw, and Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown, as the library of games continues to rapidly grow.

Remember if you already have these games on Xbox 360, they should automatically pop up in your Xbox One game library. If not, you can easily buy them either on your console or by going to the following Xbox.com links:-

Since the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility feature was released back in November 2015 alongside the New Xbox One Experience update, Microsoft has continuously added new titles on regular intervals.

The response to backward compatibility has been “overwhelming” since its inception according to Microsoft. Players have altogether spent a staggering 145 million hours playing Xbox 360 titles on the Xbox One.

The latest additions have followed up last week’s releases that saw Microsoft add eight titles to the program, including the likes of  Bayonetta, de Blob 2, and Bejeweled 3.

More news related to backwards compatibility, Square Enix and Amazon have joined hands to bring you a deal where you can get a free backwards compatibility game.

For Xbox Live Gold member, the Games with Gold program will give you four free games (two Xbox One and two backward compatible Xbox 360) per month.

This month’s Games with Gold titles feature Forza Horizon (Xbox 360), which expires today, Earthlock: Festival of Magic (Xbox One) that you can claim until the end of the month. Starting tomorrow, you can also get Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China (Xbox One) and Mirror’s Edge (Xbox 360).
