New Cinematic Trailer For The Evil Within 2 Out Now

The Evil Within 2 comes out in less than two months and the brutal sequel to the original seems deadlier than ever in this new cinematic trailer that has just been released for it. Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks have revamped the sequel to provide an even more gruesome and enjoyable experience than the first. You can watch the captivating new trailer in the video down below.

The Evil Within was a pain for most players who got to play it as it was set in an immensely creepy atmosphere for the player and that is partly why it was one of the most under rated titles of the year. The protagonist, Sebastian Castellanos, was put to the ultimate test of survival with nightmarish creatures and only limited supplies to protect himself with. Shinji Mikami, the man behind most of the original Resident Evil games, has managed to make the game even more unsettling by adding the most evil foe imaginable: humans.

In the sequel, monster humans have been introduced in the STEM world (the game’s setting) and they are quite the atrocities. The first one revealed so far is Stefano Valentini, a rather psychotic artists who likes to take pictures of the people he murders. The dark and morbid mind of Stefano can be seen clearly as how he takes photos of his victims at the exact “moment of death”. This is in some ways a departure from the previous games which focused on manifestations instead of actual psychotic killers.

There aren’t any more details about Sebastian’s encounter with Stefano or any of the other human parasites in the STEM world, but they will surely be a horrific and terrifying experience.

The Evil Within 2 releases worldwide on PS4, Xbox One and  PC on October 13, 2017. Let us know if you’ll be playing it on launch by commenting in the comments section below .
