We are getting closer to the release date of Mass Effect Andromeda. The game is all set to be released on March 23, 2017, and Bioware has today released a video interview which features Game Of Thrones Natalie Dormer AKA Maergary Tyrell, who will be voicing an Asari doctor in the game.
However, she will not be the only GOT alumni, as Gethin Anthony who played the part of Dormer’s former husband, Renly Baratheon, will also be voicing the character of Gil. For now though we only have the characters name and no other additional detail.
Its quite strange seeing the two portraying characters other than Renly and Maergary Tyrell. Even Dormer though the same. Here is what she had to say about working with Anthony again:
[miptheme_quote author=”” style=”text-center”]I had a bit of a moment earlier when Gethin Anthony’s voice came in over across my [headphones]. It’s kind of a weird one, hearing Renly Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell in different guises.[/miptheme_quote]
This is the first time that Dormer’s role has been revealed publicly, and she definitely seems impressed with the amount of detail that has gone in developing the game. There also seems to be a jab at “A Song Of Ice And Fire” as Dormer’s character Dr Lexi T’Perro makes a reference to a book series ending prematurely because its author passed away. this might have been a reference to George RR Martin, as many people believe that “ASOF” will be left incomplete.
Apart from Dormer’s inclusion in the game, Bioware also shared a gameplay video which is the second one in the ongoing series. If the video is anything to go by Mass effect Andromeda will be a breathtaking journey.
