Recently rumors were swirling around about a standalone Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered version hitting the shelves, and now it appears that these rumors have come to fruition as Activision has just announced that it indeed would be becoming a reality , and would release on the PS4 next week.
Previously those who had only ordered a special edition of Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare had access to the Remastered Modern Warfare, this caused a lot of fans to become upset and petition for a stand alone Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
It will be available on 27th June on the PS4 both physically and digitally and will cost you about $ 40. If you want the variety map pack then you will have to cough up an extra $15 for it. A release on other platforms will follow shortly afterwards.
For those of you who never played the game , now is a good chance to play one of the most well renowned shooters in recent history , and get yourself acquainted with one of the most iconic protagonists in “Soap” MacTavish.
