This is the first time since 2013 since we have heard any news regarding the game. When the game was first announced it created significant curiosity and was considered a clutter breaking game. However, the game developers later potentially abandoned work on the game. Now almost after five years we get some insights yet again, hoping that something fruitful could be done this time around.
A Youtuber, LegacyKillaHD gave us some more insights on the issue. According to the Youtuber, he had an anonymous source inside of Sony who gave him some new leads on the issue. In November 2017, Adam Kicinski from CD Project revealed that the engine for the game was in full motion. However, he mentioned that the technology for the game was still in development and modifications take place very in late stage. Now, the Sony employee has mentioned that the company has received a PS4 test demo of the game. This clearly implies that the game is in playable state on the PS4.
The anonymous source turned down any possibility of the game being launched in 2018. The game according to the source will take at least two more years to launch.
It’s important to note that at this point in time the news is largely a rumor as both CDPR and Sony have made no official announcement yet.
