Ubisoft is going rather aggressively with its Assassins Creed series. After the soft reboot to Assassin’s Creed Origins which takes gamers to Ancient Egypt, the game developers were to quick to come up with the first major downloadable content expansion (DLC) which was aptly titled The Hidden Ones

Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Hidden Ones DLC was released on January 23. The game will set yet again in Ancient Egypt and will take place four years after the core Assassin’s Creed Origins game. The lead character in the game is Bayek who will further enhance his rivalry with the Templar brotherhood.

The game is set in the Sinai Peninsula. Like ancient times, the Roman empire reigns strong and currently the Romans have occupied the Peninsula. The Assassins in the game will most likely come in conflict with these Romans who will apparently be the Templars. The game according to Ubisoft will have up to four hours of main content followed by five hours of side missions.

The latest game takes the player’s cap to level 45 allowing players opportunities to further upgrade their character and his weapons. The content as reported by Ubisoft will be accessible at any time of the game. But at the same time, the DLC is expected to be difficult and the developers advise players to reach at least level 40 before accessing it.

As reported by Forbes, Assassin’s Creed Origins: The Hidden Ones DLC will be followed by two more features. The first would be a Discovery Tour. The feature would come out on February 20th and would allow gamers to explore Egypt and learn more about it. The second would be The Curse Of The Pharaohs which will be released on March 6. Bayek In this version would come up against undead pharaohs and other mythical creatures of Ancient Egypt.
