Streaming websites in recent years have gained mass following and is the new norm to watch movies and tv shows. Netflix so far has remained the dominant service provider. The streaming website has a massive library of TV shows and movies and is a fortune for those who are still at a rudimentary level in terms of shows and movie viewership.

Netflix has played its cards quite strategically and one by one has bought rights for renowned and popular comics. One such example is of Umbrella Academy. The show over the years has drawn interest of the audience taking a special place in their hearts. Ellen Page was amongst the cast of the Umbrella Academy. The adaptation comes from the comics Umbrella Academy which is the brainchild of Gerard Way , formerly of the rock band My Chemical Romance. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mary J. Bilge will be joining the cast of the show with a one year contract.

Mary J Blige has managed nominations for two Oscars for Mudbound and wants to keep her alliance intact with the streaming giant. The official description of the character is as follows Blige will take on the role of Cha-Cha, a ruthless and unorthodox hit-woman who travels through time to kill assigned targets. Even though she has a few gripes about the bureaucracy of her employers, this job is her life. She is sadistic, sociopathic, and her reputation precedes her. Her true love is torture, and she thinks of herself as a “pain artist.” She really doesn’t care for people — except for her partner Hazel (uncast).
