Thor Ragnarok reviews are in and they have created quite the hype. The first trailer for the film was a combination of humor and despair with an impressive Led Zeppelin track beautifully synthesizing the elements. Thor in the trailer is depicted in a never seen situation. Here’s a look at the official synopsis.
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok“, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladitorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!
Marvel studio has created quite the hype before the film comes into the cinemas. According to the Variety, Taika Waititi the director of Thor is expecting $100 million plus launch in North America. The movie has received better than expected reviews and also has gotten an impressive 98% rotten tomatoes. Moreover, the studio is also betting the movie to be dominate the box office. But will that be the case?
The trailer and the timing of the movie cannot have been perfect. The movie is placed right before Warner Bros’s Justice League and is expected to shift most of the momentum towards it. However, Warner Bros too have made quite a mark with Wonder Women. Fans as also excitedly waiting for Justice League and we don’t expect Thor to take the market away from Justice League. We feel that the Justice League has done some major revamping and the movie will impress the audience. Plus fans have already had a lot of Thor and Hulk. Through Justice League they can explore a different and possibly a more powerful line of Superheroes.
Still it’s great to see initial Thor Ragnarok reviews that are positive, and being a Marvel fan I couldn’t be more excited to head to the theatres when the movie comes out.
