PUBG is one game which has been consistently at the top of the Steam charts. It’s perhaps one of the greatest Underdog story in the history of gaming, and the game deserves all of the plaudits that are heading its way.
Recently news broke of Bluehole creating a subsidiary which would specifically be tasked with looking after the day to day affairs of PUBG.PUBG Corporation is the newly formed subsidiary by Blue hole Studios which is dedicated to Global Relation and Expansion and will be headed by Vice President of Blue Hole Chang Han Kim.
As the Battle Royale based game continues to grow at a tremendous rate it makes sense that a separate entity focuses on fine tuning the entire process of delivering the absolute best to its loyal fanbase. The subsidiary will be opening new offices in U.S, Europe and Japan which as stated by the Vice President
“This new structure allows us to be nimble as we look towards the expansion of strategic business opportunities that include the game’s potential in the e sports sector and the growth of PUBG as a true global IP franchise.”
What PUBG has managed to do in such a limited amount of time is astonishing.The Game claimed the title of most concurrent players on Steam, and went on to sell 10 Million copies while still in Early access. Imagine what happens once the game hits the Xbox One , and if the supposed talks with Sony lead to a PS4 release , it will undoubtedly shatter many gaming records.
PUBG surely has bright future when the game fully materializes on consoles as well. Which sort of makes you wonder will we ever see PUBG on the Nintendo Switch? Well never say never.
