Phil Spencer in a recent interview said that he is seeing some “wonderful things” from the devs of Gears Of War (Coalition) and Halo(343).
While many were speculating that we might see a Gears of War 5 announcement at E3 2017 that didn’t happen but at the same time Phil Spencer has gone on to say that the studio (Coalition)along with 343 are both working on future projects and that he is seeing some amazing things. so we can rest assured that they have something brewing.
A Gears of War 5 makes sense because Gears Of War 4 was the beginning of a new chapter for the franchise, and it will be interesting to see how it takes the story forward. Unfortunately it seems both Gears Of War 5 and the new Halo game are going to take some time . However one of our sources which cant be named has said that a Gears Of War 5 may yet be announced by the end of the year or by the beginning of 2018.
Its already been confirmed that it will take sometime before a Halo 6 is officially announced. That is according to 343 Industries writer Jeff Easterling
“While there’s little to nothing that can be said on that front, it’s been made clear that we won’t be talking about Halo’s next major title for quite some time. And no, that doesn’t mean Gamescom. Or PAX. Trust us, when we’re ready to begin pulling back that proverbial curtain, you’ll know. It won’t be soon.”
So we can probably guess that the game will come out somewhere around 2019, that is if it does not run into any potential delays. I guess we will all have to wait to find out more.
