Metal Gear Survive Has A Kojima Easter Egg??

Metal Gear Survive, the spinoff to the Metal Gear Series has laid out numerous Easter eggs depicting the feud between the series creator Hideo Kojima and the publisher Konami. Whether the exact meaning derived from the eggs is still not substantiated by the official sources, fans on Twitter on Reddit think otherwise.

The Easter Eggs start when players first enter their name when beginning the game. During this process a whole list of previously typed names appear. Starting from the third name in the list if the first alphabet of each second name is taken into consideration it says “KJP Forever” which many fans interpret as Kojima Productions Forever. In addition the last two names are unlike any other names at the list. They are quite insulting indeed in Bastard Yota and Cunning Yoji. Fans feel that they are used to refer to the game’s director and producer, Yota Tsutsumizaki and Yuji Korekado respectively.

As mentioned before all of these potential eggs are just rumors. As reported by Screenrant, Kojima regarding the issue revealed little but expressed his disapproval on including zombies in the game.

For those of you who may be unware, a few years back there was a rift between Kojima and Konami. The fallout was public and is rumored to be because of a conflicting of interest between the rising cost of Metal Gear Solid V and Konami’s focus shifting towards gaming on mobile. Kojima has been a veteran in the Metal Gear Solid series, but it is quite apparent that he must hit a nerve somewhere along the lines. Konami not only removed Kojima’s name from the directing credit from Metal Gear Solid V but also rescinded Silent Hill, a game very close to Kojima’s heart.
