Bayonetta 3

The Infamous developer for the games like Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, and Okami which are considered as gems in the industry, Hideki Kamiya is known almost in every nook and cranny of the industry he’s being approached by fans and dev’s alike for sequels on his games.

But now it seems that he’s becoming more and more active hinting at future projects and interested in projects that fans are asking for the most. Stating that he would be innterested in a Devil May Cry and Bayonetta.

In an interview with Dengeki PlayStation, Hideki Kamiya stated what he would like to see in the future,

“I want to work on a Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe remake, or a true sequel to Okami. A cooperation with Dante (from Devil May Cry)and Bayonetta might also be fun. Dear Capcom, if it’s okay with someone like me, I will help anytime. Best regards. Everyone, bow down your heads with me!”

Well for one thing Bayonetta and Dante while having some similarities are two polar opposites in terms of personalities. This is what makes the prospect of a crossover so interesting. The two protagonist in a beat em up sort of game is a mouth watering concept for just about everyone.

Lately we haven’t seen any work from Hideki Kamiya since his last game Scalebound was cancelled which was already in development although games like Okami and Bayonetta 2 did receive ports for PC opening quite some intriguing possibilities.

Hideki Kamiya did recently hint at a Bayonetta 3 when he responded to a tweet recently. “Is there an actual name for the world of chaos, like inferno and paradiso? Like gaia, or something like”. To which he replied “Wait till Bayo3″.

Whether we get to see Bayonetta 3 or not , a crossover between Devil May Cry and Bayonetta is something which everyone would like to see.
