Game of Thrones is a TV show that revolutionized the TV industry. It since its emergence as attracted millions of people worldwide and is a fan favorite. While we may give a lot of credit to the show’s producers and directors we often forget the real mastermind behind this breathtaking show. Yes I’m talking about the one and only George R.R. Martin the author behind Game of Thrones. Its Martin’s imaginative mind that helped us explores the magical and ancient world of Game of Thrones.
Now according to reports, Martin might have one more of its Novel converted into a TV show. Martin’s novel the Nightflyers is expected to make it to the TV sets. According to the Digital Spy, Syfy in the US volunteered for the pilot of the show.
Unlike Game of Thrones, Nightflyers is a novel that is much more modern in nature. The novel is about a group of scientists that use the vessel called the Nightflyers in order to explore the furthest depths of the solar system. The aim of this journey is to help mankind advance further. However as expected there seems to be a twist in the tale as they are faced with mysterious acts of violence making it difficult to trust their fellow scientists. “We are looking forward to diving deeper into George R.R. Martin’s chilling world of Nightflyers.” He added that “The script that Jeff [Buhler] delivered encapsulates this classic sci-fi horror story and adapts it to a platform where we can truly explore the depths of madness.”
Martin currently has a lot riding on his table. He is developing around five Game of Thrones spinoffs. In addition he also working on the next book of “ A Song of Ice and Fire book series.”
