The Wolfhall takes a look at Constantine’s appearance in DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3
DC’s TV universe is fast gaining momentum. CW has a vast and diversified portfolio now. The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow have been artistically amalgamated into a single universe. In the future we may see more instances of these characters engaging in cross universe appearances.
The high level of interdependency between universes means that different characters will now be impacted by different developments in other shows. One major development that has taken place is the appearance of Constantine in the third season of Legends of Tomorrow.
The director of the show Phil Klemmer has made some revelations about the Constantine character. As reported by Nerdist, Klemmer regarding the issue says that “His appearance in episode 310 will involve the following: a revisiting of Arrow season four and the events following that season’s finale episode; a confrontation with this season’s Big Bad on Legends–the name we’ve only heard whispered until now Mallus; some hot sex–something that has been in short supply on the Waverider thus far in season three; and Damien Darhk (Neil McDonough), because how can you do an episode about dark magic and not have Damien Darhk?”
Matt Ryan is expected to play the Constantine role. Ryan has made a special guest only appearance as John Constantine in the fourth season of Arrow. Constantine will now make another appearance. There are also rumors that the character will be tied to the cartoon series of Constantine.
One thing good about connected universes is that fans are able to relate better with characters now. Constantine will be not a new thing for the fans now and might also persuade fans to research further by viewing the cartoon series. This thus proves to be an excellent marketing opportunity for entertainment companies.
