The Marvel cinematic universe (MCU) is finally approaching the climax of their 10 year struggle. The universe which started off with Iron Man in 2008 is now finally culminating into the much-awaited Avengers: Infinity Wars. The latest Avenger film will be the third installment in the Avengers franchise and is expected to be the best one yet. The movie is set to feature myriad of super heroes all gutted against the monstrous Thanos.

Marvel comics have been there for a very long time. However, it was not until Disney’s masterclass portrayal of the characters on the big screen allowed them to produce customer loyalty and a solid fan base. Since 2008, we have seen Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Ant Man, Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy on the big screen. Now Marvel treated us with the final piece in the puzzle in Black Panther. Let’s take a look at Black Panther’s implications in the future of the MCU.

Black Panther is the final solo super hero film that we got from Marvel before the release of the infinity wars. The movie has done quite good so far and is even being considered as the best solo Marvel ever. The movie is on the course of making a debut worth over $165 million and is breaking multiple records. The movie has managed to solicit a rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes making it the highest rated super hero movie of all time.

We believe the reason why Black Panther has managed to gain such traction as fans are eager to obtain and track Easter eggs for the upcoming infinity wars. Marvel uses a classic post credit scene approach where it masterfully crafts the story line for its next films. As Black Panther was the final piece in the puzzle, fans are rather eager to obtain all the information they need for the upcoming potential mega block buster. Black Panther indeed have some interesting post credit scenes which we will take a look at. For those of you who aren’t in for spoilers we caution you to go any further.

Black Panther after defeating his foe realizes that the time is now right to break across cultures and barriers. He feels that the technology of Wakanda should now be shared with the world. This has quite a major implication. The change of heart for the Wakadian prince means that he and his country would play a major part in the Avengers fight against Thanos.

The technology possessed by Wakanda is also of the highest level. This means that we may have a superhero who may possess the caliber to replace Tony Stark. Tony Stark is renowned in the MCU universe for his riches and technology. The Avengers are mainly financed by the Shield and Tony Stark and it is Stark’s modern robotics and technology that drives the Avengers. But with another technological power house coming into play it may mean that the time of Iron Man may be coming to an end.

In the comics the encounter with Thanos is quite a brutal one. There are speculations and rumors that most of our current league of heroes may end up dying. Chris Evans’ contract with MCU is coming to an end and with the upheaval of Black Panther we might see the end of Iron Man too. In Captain America: Civil War we saw how Iron Man And Captain America fight against one another. This could turn the other way round in Infinity Wars where we might see the two die together. If Marvel is to launch the next phase of superheroes than considering the amount of success Black Panther has had in the box office, he might prove to be the next leader of the upcoming Avengers.

Another theory that is rumored to be true is that Black Panther might become friends with Bucky and play a part in his revival. Steve Rogers or Captain America handed his friend Bucky to Black Panther. Bucky in the post credits scene is also shown wandering on the outskirts of Wakanda. Shuri sister of T Challa or Black Panther having revived Bucky and taken him out of control of Hydra. This explains why Bucky is seen with the Avengers in his fight against Thanos and will be an important component in the upcoming Infinity war.

Black Panther has released worldwide on 16th February 2018.  Let us know your opinions of the movie by commenting in the comments section below.
